Course
- Start/Finish line at Sandpoint City Beach
- Run west across Bridge Street
- Turn south at 1st Ave
- Turn east at Lake St through Power House parking lot to Bike Path
- Run south on Bike Path
- Run south across pedestrian long bridge until reaching the turn around just south of Northern Energy business
- Return to Sandpoint City Beach via same route

Register online or by mail, fax, or email.
Race is limited to first 200 registrants. Last day to register is Saturday, September 14th by 6:00 pm PST.
Runner Rewards
All registered 10K participants will receive a cotton short sleeve t-shirt at packet pickup. Medals will be awarded to the top three chip time finishers in each gender age group. The medals will be presented at the awards ceremony following the race.
The age categories for both male and female participants are as follows:
under 19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64,
65-69, 70+
The 10K race is a timed event. Participants will receive their timing chips at packet pickup on Saturday, September 14th or the morning of Sunday, September 15th. The timing chips are imbedded in the race bib and are disposable and do not need to be returned.
Free massages will be provided at the finish line based on availability. Tips are suggested, encouraged, and appreciated.
Food and Drink
Water/sports drink stations will be provided approximately every 1-2 miles. Light food and beverages will be provided to participants at the start/finish line area.
Refunds
Contact the Greater Sandpoint Chamber of Commerce regarding our Refund Policy at 208-263-2161. Registrations are nonrefundable and nontransferable after midnight, September 1, 2013.

Course Time Limit
The time limit is approximately four hours for the half marathon, 10K, and 5K. The course will close on a rolling schedule, with the finish line closing at 12:30 p.m.
Baggage Check
There will be a baggage check near the starting line. Participants will be provided a small plastic bag in which to place their belongings. Checked bags will be marked with the participants’ bib number and stores for retrieval after the race. All checked baggage must be retrieved by 1:30 pm.
Dogs, Strollers, and Headphones
The City of Sandpoint has a rule against dogs in city parks. Therefore, all dogs are strictly banned from the event. No strollers are allowed on the course during the event due to the narrowness of the running path and safety concerns. Headphones are not encouraged, but if you do decide to use them, please keep the volume at a low level so you can hear other runners and instructions from course officials (especially at traffic intersections). All runners are expected to practice proper running etiquette. Our hope is that all participants have a safe and enjoyable experience.
